Richard Doone trained as an architect at the Bartlett School, University College London.
After graduating, he worked with Terence Conran for 26 years. He led Conran & Partners as a director from 1993 and Managing Director from 1999. He founded Doone Silver Kerr in 2010. He ran that company until it’s acquisition by Ryder Architecture in 2022.
Richard has worked at all scales of architecture and interior design project, from a 40-storey tower to a noodle bar. He also has wide sector experience. This includes residential, retail, offices, hospitality, museums and airport lounges.
He has completed projects in 15 countries. This has included Japan most extensively, where he continues to work.
In 2023 Richard started working as a consultant. He now provides his extensive architecture and design experience across a range of international projects and clients.
